Everyday Artisan Pizza Custom Built You
PROJECT PIE Philippines is an artisan-inspired pizza place. They have this “create-your-own-pizza” as their concept.
According to them this is their story,
James Markham got sick of eating bad pizza and thought the good stuff cost too much. So he set out to create a fast casual, custom pizza restaurant, and ended up pioneering the category. After opening mod pizza in seattle and pie-ology in California, both to popular acclaim, James decided to move the idea forward. Project pie is the next generation; the culmination of James’ experience and learning. We think you’ll love it.
After we participated on the successful 38th Milo Marathon last July 27, 2014, we go back to our hotel and rest. We planned to dine somewhere in MOA(Mall of Asia) for our dinner. Along the way, we saw Project Pie Bluebay Walk and right there and then we decided to dine there. There are many times that we plan to visit Project Pie Shaw, since I attended college at Jose Rizal University. I always see it with full of customers and long line. But then, i have my first try in Project Pie Bluebay Walk.
I think their location is great! Whether you are on the left or right lane of Edsa you will clearly see the place. For some people who want to try something new, or for some who don’t want to walk around to MOA to find somewhere to dine-in they will find the place very helpful. As I stated a while ago, we just came from Milo Marathon that’s why we are still tired and we really don’t want to walk around anymore plus the fact that we really want to try it too.
As we enter the store, a big version of their menu welcomes us. Since we are all new to the place, this “BIG version” of their menu helped us a lot 🙂 It is a perfect copy of their “small” menu but in a large print.
But still we get “small version” of their menu. It looks like this..
Their menu is divided by sections:
1. Pre-Order Pizza or Built Your Own: P285
- There are 7 pizza to choose from, they already include common toppings that we can see on our everyday pizza. But then, you can still add ANY topping that you want. (I personally prefer this one)
- If your prefer ‘Built Your Own’ you have to enumerate to the staff ALL the toppings you want to include on your pizza.
2. Other Awesome Eats includes: p145 – p195
- Banana Nutella
- Peanut Butter Nutella
- Strawberry Mango Nutella
- Cinnamon Sugar w/ Icing
- Parmesan and Garlic
3. Salads: p165 – p245
- Classic Caesar
- Mixed Greens
- Pizza Salad
4. Drinks (Including bottled water, soda, juices, BEER, and wine too): p50 – p250
- Bottled Water
- Coca-Cola, China Mist Iced Tea (BOTTOMLESS)
- Domestic Beer
- Perrier, San Pelegrino
- Imported Beer
- Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay
5. LOTS of TOPPINGS……………………..
When we’re decided about our pizza toppings and drinks…..our journey goes like this….
We line up to the “making area”.
The friendly staff will ask you if you are first timer, if you said yes, he/she will explain how the menu and their process works. He/she will also ask for your name, like Starbucks they put customer names on their products.
PS: These 3 guys looking at the camera are my food and travel buddies. (From left to right) Ryane(yes with ‘e’ at the end), Rich Joy(Ryane’s gf as well as my officemate) and last but not the least Jorrell(my buddy/boyfriend). Hahaha 😀 How about me? I’m the camera woman. 😉
They will put the dough in the tray and the tray goes inside this machine, and after few seconds the machine will bring it out and tadaaaa! Our crust is ready! 🙂
Start of pizza making!
